Thanks! I am pleasantly surprised that my EAD was just delivered and physically in my hand. I'm heading straight to the DMV for my license. It's been three weeks that I've been on house arrest. FREEDOM!

Sorry, but I hope the best for all of us.
This is something we discussed during the last renewal cycle. But, the conclusion was that each officer is assigned x # of cases in their caseload/batch that they have to clear in a certain amount of time. Hence, why some people are approved faster than others because some officers work faster than others and these loads are assigned at different intervals.

Yes I've seen this and it seems pretty much true seeing the pattern so far. Sort of based on your luck as to which officer gets your case and how fast they work. Sucks that they have more control in my life right now than I do.

My DACA was approved on 9/21 and I was not notified until 5 days later that my EAD was being produced, and then my card was not mailed until 10/11 and I received it priority mail this afternoon. Good luck!

Yup, seems to be the norm.

This is the case for almost everyone on here, including myself. EAD and DACA will have corresponding dates of approval and expiration.

That is insane and so unfortunate. Have you tried to reach out to these contacts?

USCIS Special cases - uscisspecialcases@uscis.dhs.gov

Unfortunately, its a crap shoot and there's no telling when your case is up for approval. Also, just wanted to point out that you can edit your signature to include your DACA info automatically by going to "Control Panel" on the left side of the screen.

Thanks - that is a big help. Your right This is a crap shoot and a half.

Has anyone received this response from USCIS? If so, how long did it take to get a response after this service request response?

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

I'm debating whether or not contacting my Congressman is worth a shot. He is a Democrat, thankfully. I feel like I've seen mostly non-helpful responses from those who have contacted their Congressman. Does anyone have an input about this?

The only two things I did was contact ILRC and got my case elevated a while back, don't think that happened/helped.

On September 19, I submitted Ombudsman a request to review my case. On October 6th, they replied saying they reviews my case and said they'd reply to me in 60 days if they hear anything from USCIS. They didn't tell me anything as of yet but I was approved for DACA today.

Bios: 5/31
Expired: 9/29
Approved: 10/11

If someone can update the sheet for me, that would be awesome. Currently not able to.
Congrats! Did you receive a text/e-mail or did you check the website?
