Congratulations to everyone who go approved!

I received an e -mail from my congressman's office today. All they said was that USCIS just says to keep waiting. *sigh* It's stressful, but I suppose it's all one can do.

For those approved and waiting for their EAD card:

-Anyone in September before the last week of that month still waiting on EAD card?

-For those approved September 26-30th: Have you guys received your card in the mail or any other status update from the previous "Card is being produced"?

-For those approved on the first week of October 1st-7th: Has your status on USCIS case tracker or ELIS change from "Card being Produced"?

From monitoring approvals here and on Facebook it looks like people who were approved around September 29, 2016 are just receiving their EAD card or their status is changing to "USPS has picked up your card".

I was approved and I didn't even get a response from my congresswomen about anything. The only responses I got were from NILC and IRLC.

Did anyone receive a similar email from the Ombudsman office?

"The CIS Ombudsman's Office received an update from USCIS informing your case is still being actively reviewed. USCIS is not sure how long the review will take but will continue to provide the Ombudsman’s Office with updates."

My EAD has been expired since 9/18...this wait is horrible.

I expired sept 28th but was approved for EAD on the 6th of October. DaCa was approved on the 10th.

I hope they get to their business asap.

I just called USCIS tier 2 officer and she told me she sees the latest activity on my case is 10/12. Have anyone gotten a similar information back from a tier 2 officer before?

Hopefully if a T2 calls me in 4 hours I will let you know what they told me. you are waiting for approval correct?

Your questions are very optimistically phrased.

"On September 19, 2016, we approved your Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals"

"On October 16, 2016, we began producing your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization"

So your EAD went into production on the 6th of October? if so maybe next week there could be an update. if I am correct it looks like they might be working on last week of September. Just a guess.

Thank you, I try to be positive even though I am extremely stressed lol. Wow so almost a month before they updated/approved your I-765. At least its in the final stretch now, if it is taking 2-3 weeks to receive EAD in the mail looking at early weeks of November maybe. Hopefully sooner though.
