Congratulation! Btw did you check early in the day or you just found out now? I'm just trying to see if the approvals are just in the morning or not.

I'm already past the 8 month wait. It's been 245 days since they started working on my case on February 18. I swear, USCIS has got to be the most inept group of people I have ever had the unfortune of meeting. It has to be a joke. 245 days and no approval, it is unacceptable. I feel like I should get my money back. The people at CSC had got to have ADHD or I don't know why they are taking so long on something that should take 150 days tops. A lot of people need to get fired over this circus act that the USCIS has been performing for the past year. Approving some people in less than a week and throwing a giant finger to people that sent their applications ages ago.

I hope the same will happen to you. Keep calling USCIS to submit service requests or contact NICL (I think that's how it's spelled)

Wow that is terrible!
One of the lawyers I talked to told me that there is an option to file a lawsuit against USICS for not performing their job. This is a costly process but my lawyer said that they usually saddle and just approve the case. Just an option.
Did you try contacting any lawyers?
I'm not going to ask if you did an SR or contacted your congressman since I'm assuming you did it.

Try contacting other lawyers maybe they can offer some help that your current lawyers can not.

Got a VERY similar timeline to you and same update!

5/26/2016 - case received
8/24/16 - biometrics done (DELAYED - had to call them to schedule it)
10/18/16 - Card in production, EAD approved

Expired 10/13/16. HR didn't say anything so I just quietly kept working...

Steps to get some action on my case: Emailed Congressman who called USCIS, NILC, Service request after the 105 day mark. Just keep bugging them guys. The more times you push them to look at your case, eventually they're gonna do something about it.
