Official 2016 Renewal Thread - Page 827

I got my EAD yesterday, 10/29/2016. My case status got updated on Thursday 10/27/2016 that I had been approved and at night on Thursday it got updated with the tracking number.

I'm checking my case tracker, and it no longer says card is being produced or anything like that . It just says for both receipts that I was approved. I haven't gotten any texts or emails about a change of status. Has this happened to anyone? What does it mean, does anybody know?

Your card should come 3-4 days from that change.

Card received on 10/29/16.

Got an email a few minutes ago from ELIS saying my case had been updated.

Logged in.

Finally.

Approved.

This has been a rough, rough patch on the road. Relieved to be finally clearing it.

I'm not sure what did it, either the SR I put in last Monday or the ILRC flagging my case. But for those still waiting, I recommend that as soon as you hit the 105 day mark you go down each step on the NILC list.

Then keep calling T2 reps to ask if your application has been assigned to an officer. Mine was assigned this past week. It seems like adjudication happens not long after.

This is a hard learned lesson for me to not be complacent with something with this magnitude of importance. I waited until 60 days before my expiration to send my application in. Big mistake. The other lesson is to realize the frailty of life under DACA and not take it for granted.

I just have to mention how grateful I am to my employer for willing to grant me such a long leave of absence to hold my position.

Lastly, and most importantly, I want to thank the community in this forum for the information, guidance and moral support.

Ok so my sister mistakenly put that she left the country after august 2012 on her daca renewal (this would be her third renewal) so obviously they sent her an RFE. She hasnt left the country it was just a mistake. Should she just immediately go to a lawyer?

Today marks 2 weeks since my EAD expired
Still nothing....

I am sorry to hear this. Have you tried submitting a SR through the phone with USCIS? I think this is what did it for me, they ignored my submitted e-requests but they did approve me on the deadline of the SR submitted by an agent.

Hey guys my status on case tracker changed from card produced to approval on 10/27. It doesn't say shipped although on ELIS it says my green card has been produced and will be on my way.
