I just e-malied this show called Democracy Now to see if they do a segment on the Dream Act. I think it's a good show because it's on NPR and also on TV.

Quote:
Democracy Now! is a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program airing on over 500 stations in North America. Pioneering the largest public media collaboration in the U.S., Democracy Now! is broadcast on Pacifica, NPR, community, and college radio stations; on public access, PBS, satellite television (DISH network: Free Speech TV ch. 9415 and Link TV ch. 9410; DIRECTV: Link TV ch. 375); as a "podcast," and on the internet.

Last month and last year they did good segments about CIR, so they should support us too!

anyway! this is their contact info!

It took me like 2 minutes. It was really easy and fast. I also mentioned this Forum. My idea was a focus on undocumented students who already graduated from college and cannot work as nurses and teachers. Instead they are working as construction workers and other low wage jobs. That is my pich with all the shows. NPR also has a e-mail for the pitching of ideas. I also send a similar stoy to them and a link to this site. Thus, everybody do not curse or put stupid names to your threads like "why no body loves me?"

2 e-mails are not gonna get us a segment

This is not mainstream media, this is viewer supported media and the people who usually watch this are smart people, and the NPR audience which is the same people who watch c-span
