I think it could be,

-Ending DACA and letting our EADs run out and let us be until the wall is built and they start vetting people.
-Ending DACA and cancelling our EADs immediately.
-Stop accepting new applicants and just keep renewals.
-Ending DACA and ICE comes visit us at our workplace.

Lol I like number three, then we get an EAD for what I am hearing projections will be 6-8 years.

Look at this quote carefully "Kobach said the immigration group had also discussed ways of overturning President Barack Obama's 2012 executive action that has granted temporary deportation relief and work permits to more than 700,000 undocumented people or "dreamers" who came to the United States as children of illegal immigrants."

This means they don't even know what the program fully entails yet. They had a knee-jerk reaction by immediately labeling as amnesty thinking that MILLIONS were going to benefit.

Once they realize that LESS than a million have actually benefited, they will not see it as a big deal and leave it alone.

I am hopeful that they will just let us keep our permits, keep renewing them and not allow anyone else to sign up.

I appreciate some of you being optimistic, but considering Trump spent most of his campaign lying about all of this, I seriously doubt they'll believe the facts.

Yes!

He is already flip flopping on a lot of what he promised during the campaign and people are starting to call him out for it. We are the easiest group of people to make a statement out of!

It would be nice if the most influential members of our community met with him to discuss DACA. I doubt he has met anyone from our community.

I am not sure if they would be that desperate that they need to make an example out of someone? So they just target a group of people who voluntarily applied to a program to help better their lives?

I mean I am not saying we are immune, but I would like to believe the Trump administration would have some sense not to go about it that way.

Very likely they simply shut down DACA though, and no more papers for us for 4-8 years, maybe longer.

Just gotta hope for the best.

He's entire campaign was undoing everything Obama did. He's already flip flopping big time. We can expect him going after DACA to assuring his support he is going back on what he promised
