Border security + DREAM Act works for now. Than we tackle the rest..
This is unfortunately true.

The truth is that, Democrats spent all their political capital on Obamacare instead of immigration.

Now Obamacare will be gone.

I hope democrats can realize how much the screwed us over in a way.

Immigration Reform WILL NEVER PASS.

The majority of Americans do not believe in it. Even if democrats controlled all chambers, republican minorities would block it.

I believe if Republicans get to pass their border enforcement and it works, that is the only chance for undocumented immigrants to fix their situation.

I now believe that the only way our parents will ever become legal for example, will be through us, once each of us individually becomes a citizen and petitions for them.

This is not true. Latest poll by Quinnipiac (conducted Nov 17-20th) says 60% of Americans want undocumented immigrants to stay in the US and apply for citizenship. Source

If someone wants to laugh at me because I have something like a "Brown Card" that confers legal status to me but doesn't allow me to cruise into LPR or Citizenship, then so be it...I take the shit, shrug it off instantly, head to the club...flash my ID...get with some hotties...and dance the night away...bring it on baby!!!
I agree with you. Brown Card and all.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I don't care what they give us. I just want to live my life in peace, be able to travel and be eligible to adjust via marriage/etc in the future.

I'm thinking in the $5,000 to 10,000 range. It wouldn't be paid upfront. I believe the GO8 bill allowed it to be paid over the course of several years.
