The morningconsult link does not seem like legit news. Your thoughts?

Rubio is such an idiot. I cannot stand that senator.

The comment sounds like bad news us. He didn't say if DACA will be rolled back or not, he said he didn't want to go into detail of how to roll it back. Maybe he knows something we don't know.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, an immigration hawk and*Trump’s pick to serve as the next attorney general, wouldn’t get into the details about how a rollback of Obama’s executive actions would occur.

Let's just wait bro. Even Rubio might get on board. He did say at an earlier date that hopefully the new administration and congress can get something done before our permits expire. He just is not showing enough leadership on the issue--I agree. He is acting more like a follower.

It sounds like DACA will be rolled back no matter what. I believe there is an agreement between republicans who have claimed it is unconstitutional amnesty etc...

Our only hope is that republicans come together to come up with a law that protects us.

There is some hope that this is achievable but obviously it will have to depend on what Trump signals he wants.
.

For now it seems that the best that will happen the first week will be a repeal that is not retroactive.

I agree man.

Hopefully, Trump signals a yes. I think he will. The Graham and Durbin proposal would not give us citizenship. So, conservatives can argue that the bill does not grant amnesty.

Fingers crossed, everyone. I think it can pass the senate. I think Trump might be on board. The question is the House.

This will be all Trump. Republicans right now will do anything Trump says. Trump will probably ask for something in return though. He will not get DACA passed just like that. He will want at the very least some kind of enforcement measures passed along with it.

I totally feel the same way. Let's hope Trump gives a yes signal.

Next congress will have 240 Republicans and 194 Democrats. Assuming all democrats support the bill (unlikely), we will need at least 24 Republicans to vote for the bill.
