As my first official act as California’s U.S. Senator, I’m co-sponsoring legislation protecting the 744K DREAMers from being deported.

We do not need Democrats co-sponsoring this, we need Republicans. These type of announcements just hurt our chances.

I remember Durbin saying they were hoping to announce cosponsors in pairs - democrat and republican. Anyway I think Kamala is tweeting her intention to cosponsor. BRIDGE Act has not yet been reintroduced into the new session.
