A Facebook video posted Tuesday afternoon by United We Dream shows immigrant rights leader Yenimar Cortes asking Gen. John Kelly, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for to lead the Department of Homeland Security, whether he would protect the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. In the video, Kelly said that he would “reserve judgment” to answer the question until President-elect Trump makes his decision as to whether he would repeal President Obama’s DACA executive order.

Thank God Cruz isn't president. (Evil son of a bitch) We wouldn't have any doubts about daca being taken away if he was President elect.

I agree with this. Also, we would not even be making arguments about possible relief under Cruz like we are about Trump. Cruz is, indeed, a son of a bitch.

The reason I'm hesitant to say trump will automatically cancel daca are the two interviews he gave after winning the election where he took a different tone. Also, he seems to agree with whomever he spoke to last, so he seems to be all over the place when it comes to issues.

Cruz would never be president. He has the appeal of a wet sock. The most uninspiring and uncharasmaric person I have ever witnessed. He got steamrolled in the election.

we will be fine guys, even if DACA gets rescinded we will be at the bottom of the list of priority. Try to remember your life before DACA and tell me if someone knocked at your door to bring you in.

Most of us need a job in order to support ourselves and continue our careers. We won't be "fine."

I am already making arrangements for a plan B and move to another country.

that is fine dude, everyone should have plan b's, c's, d's in their lives. its better to live your life in a vigilant way and prepare for the worst rather than living in fear. Again, Congress will address this issue, if not.. lives moves on, it's not the end of the world.

Hopefully getting married remains an option.
