^ that's really odd. Which city do you live in, if you don't mind me asking? In NY we can renew it up to one year before it expires..

A tip for everyone, if you got some type of criminal record where charges were dropped, record was expunged etc include it with your renewal papers. It was the mistake I made, they ended up sending me a RFE and I can't help but think that set me back a couple of months on my renewal
Well, let me chime in on that. I have a criminal record and I did include all the paperwork even though it was expunged. I did not get an RFE and I still waited pretty much the same amount of time that you did. At some point I started to believe that the reason some of us got delayed was for having a record but I do believe other people with clean records were delayed as well.

But that's a very good tip nonetheless. People need to include everything about their criminal records. You don't want them to think you're trying to hide it or something and more than likely it will help speed up the process.

I don't have a criminal record and my case was delayed. They approved me 3 and a half months after I expired.

Got the awesome news over the weekend that my application was sent back last week, despite being sent the week before the fee change. Just great.

Today i received a letter saying that my application was rejected. Reason is the wrong fee. Does anyone know if i can resend to them the same forms or should i fill out a new one with the new date on them. Thanks!

That is a bad tip.

On DACA renewal page it specifically states that:

Do not submit any additional documents at the time you request renewal unless:

You have new documents involving removal proceedings or criminal history that you did not already submit to USCIS in a previously approved DACA request.

How early did you guys apply and get approved? My EAD expires mid August. Should I send my renewal starting February or even this week?
