his birth certificate is sufficient enough.
for the cover letter just google uscis cover letters, there are hundreds of examples
with form I-130, you need to send your marriage certificates, copy of the Full Birth certificate (front and back) for your husband. bank statements with both your names on the account or insurance policies with both names on it (this shows you mingle financially). and of course show you both leave together so both your name on the lease or mortgage. if you have any children together include the children's birth certificates as well.
the conditional green card is if you have been married for less than 2 years.
I applied the week after I received my marriage certificate. it's up to you when you apply

I'm sending I-130 and I-485 individually waiting for first to get approved then sending other. What do I send with I-130 evidence wise.
And what do I send with I-485
What is this about cover letter?
Anyone applied before being married for 2 years and got a conditional green card?

We have no bank together or insurance. We've been together for years. I don't believe in sharing a bank account. I have bills under my name and he has bills under his name in our house. Do you think that's enough? What about form I-485 do I send the same things too?

waiting for that interview letter. I did get AP which is valid for a whole year. I filled in July 2016 and I received the AP on 01/23/2017. no words yet on the AOS. my DACA work permit is about to expire in May, I figured I will would have my green card by then so I didn't apply for work permit. I just send that out last week. I did not renew my DACA which will also expire in May.

How about doing your taxes jointly? You are only required to send in one piece of evidence with BOTH your names, separate is not a good idea. However, the more joint evidence the better.

If the evidence is not joint, they may question the authenticity of the marriage.

When we did our taxes I still had my maiden name but our bills are now under my new married name or my husband last name would that count. I didn't know if taxes would count. We filed married just not th same last name but our bills are and we have a son together

Child's birth certificate would be best. It is highlighted evidence in the instructions as H.

I guess we'll see soon. Haha when I read that, I figured if they required it, they would have written the note after J not before E. My lawyer felt the same way (they've been doing it the same way for close to a decade). I read my lawyer's reviews on a few sites and felt good. So we sent it off with just the marriage certificate and all the other required paperwork. Bios were done 21 days ago and have yet to get a rfe.
