I love our president and I'm grateful for what he did for us but this is true. He deported 2.7 million iincluding families, children and non-criminal, especially between 2009 and 2013. It was never on the news even though it should have been (except for the central american families)

A lawyer (Laurel Scott) on facebook that I follow had this to say about the raids so far:

Preparations for this - which would include an increase in ICE presence and activity - may have been what sparked the rumors of mass "raids". While the increase in apprehensions is noteworthy, it pales in comparison to the mass Expedited Removals we were expecting (and maybe still are expecting). Those who have an outstanding order for removal have already had their day in court

This increase in ICE activity is something we should observe carefully, but it is not the potential due process violation I'm worried about with Expedited Removals in the interior.
So there's no need to panic. Be aware this is going on, and make sure all your undocumented family members understand what to do if ICE knocks on their door. For the moment, ICE is only going after those with outstanding order of removal. This doesn't mean they won't start apprehending people for other things, but let's keep calm and deal with it when (or if) that happens.

When ICE goes in a house after an individual, they question everyone inside for their status.
