With a warrant, they can go in. Individual might not live there anymore. It has happened before.

Thinking DACA is untouchable based on observing trump for 11 days is a false sense of security. Most of the raids are going to be low key and only people with cellphones taping and reporting some of the incidents tis how we even find out about it. I don't even understand why so much infighting about wether people are being negative or positive.

I think everyone should be careful, DACA or not. If they are grabbing up folks for simple traffic infractions does that apply to just undocumented without daca or also the ones with...who knows. Some law firms are advising those who have not signed up for DACA yet to NOT send in New applications in until Trump officially announces that HE will Protect DACA. I think Trump will leave DACA alone more than he would try to undo, Not because he gives a Sh!t ----but like I said before Bad optics.

David Marin, field office director for ICE enforcement removal operation in LA, said they arrested 161 people and 151 had prior convictions

10 of the people arrested had no criminal convictions and 5 of them had final deportation orders or were deported in the past.

Of the other 5 "those were individuals were in the country illegally. They had no documentation or any right to be here in the country"

In call with media Marin said the arrests in LA were planned and stage before the executive orders were rolled out.


ICE said "Of 161 people we arrested all but 5 would've been cases we would've prioritized for enforcement previously" under the Obama admin

Marin also said reports of ICE checkpoints, random sweeps, and the like are false and endanger communities.

I agree also, some people should really think about where they came from, and how. Our parents are still at risk. We may also have family members out of status, and friends. Heck, there are even aged out dreamers. These updates are important if it can help keep us informed. Some people forget their past as an undocumented person because of DACA. Not cool, especially in a time like this. Families need to stay together.

"I have DACA I will be okay" the truth is we all have family at risk. All it takes is for them to be at the wrong place at the wrong time
