Embarassing brosef.

I'm just trying to shed some light on the issue (Its what I do for a living, I am a licensed CPA). Everyone's situation is a little different especially when it comes to finances. We have no clue what kind of self-employment income he has. If he truly has earned income, it could possibly be that he got the earned income tax credit (only U.S. citizens and permanent residents can get this credit). Plus he could also be lying to you. The only way to verify this is by looking at his tax return, which none of us have the right to do. In my opinion, yes there are certainly many tax loopholes that are available to us as individuals. As long as we don't abuse them, stay true to the rules, it shouldn't be a problem. And about your own tax return, that $823 actually looks very good. Seems like you just got your money back. I'm just curious as to why you think you should be getting more and where do you expect the "more" to come from? If you have some time, sit down and read your tax return line by line, it will make sense brosef.
I didn't get a refund, and I know I'm not getting a refund.
He deducts everything my sister in-law did him a favor to cut his hair for free he wanted a receipt for 50 dollars because he uses that for his taxes.
We have people trying to prove we are good and contribute to the system instead of milking the system, what if tomorrow DACA ends because the reason is dreamers are costing more than they contribute.

not really... DACA is a self funding program, our application fees fund the program alone and does not burden any taxpayers. (of course right-wing anti-immigrants wont believe this.)

and no, DACA is not gonna end anytime soon, unless there is a permanent replacement.. President Obama made sure of that and relayed it to President Trump.

What about tax refunds, Medicaid. That is tax payers money and that's why they don't like us, if you paid taxes and overpaid or tax breaks, you deserve your refound, but if you didn't pay a penny into the IRS and you file taxes just to get a refund, that's is not right for the rest of us.

also the thing is... us DREAMERs w/ DACA are "taxpayers" we also pay towards fed, state, and medicaid... though half of the country will never understand that.

but yes you are right we should all pay our fair share of taxes and shouldnt abuse the system.
