I'm guessing it'll be the same as the DAPA lawsuit where it became a national injunction, even though only a handful of states sued.

It would be a good question to ask a lawyer, I seem to recall reading a piece that DAPA could be put into place outside the states that were not in the suit.

This what I don't get. DACA is a memorandum/prosecutorial discretion, not an executive order. I mean they could stop giving work permits but still give prosecutorial discretion if they choose?. Of course all these racists won't stop for anything..

It's time for Congress to act. DACA is too fragile. This could turn out really bad or it can actually be a good thing.

I sincerely believe Trump wants to keep DACA but he's being pressured by his far right base.

DREAM Act + Wall ?

Trump will ask for money for the wall in September. He also has until September to act before those people sue. Going to be an interesting couple of months

This might be the spark that lights up the flames of immigration reform. If they see people losing jobs and livelihood it'll be a political nightmare for the Republican Party and they will be forced to pass something. Let's hope it doesn't come to this though, I would hate to see my fellow dreamers suffer.

Republican are the type of people who really don't care losing millions of dollars to pretend they have a point. People here need to stop thinking with out DACA workers, this country would go under. It wouldn't, they are old, what do they care if a few hundred thousands of people suddenly stop working and paying their taxes, these republicans and states AGs are all making six figure income. Sessions is basically washing his hands here

I wouldn't say it is about the country going down if DACA people lose their status.

It's more about what will happen to these people who are all educated and made something of their lives. And also, about the message it would be sending.

USA is too big for us to have a big impact.

The optics of a million dreamers being forced back in the shadows doesn't look good for either party. I know you're hoping for the worst case scenario for us , but hopefully it doesn't come to that .
