Why do you say piano is hoping for worst case scenario for us?

Indeed US won't go down because 800k tax payers are forced back into the shadows. Two wrongs don't make it right so what they need to do is repeal and replace, pass RACA now! IMO DACA is not going anywhere until a replacement is in place, the last thing our glorious/s president needs right now is another PR scandal, plus he seems sympathetic towards our cause.

The optics of 32 million Americans losing health care does not seem to even bother all of Trump supporters. I am not trying to be pessimistic, but, these are not good times. I do not see any type of legalization on the horizon. It is worth trying to convince others about the issue, but it is time to really plan for what it is to come. Even universities are putting out statements saying, they will try to accomodate students to finish with the requirements for undergraduate programs.

They are also telling graduate students that they will be unable to pay stipends if they do not have a valid work permit. This is quite real.

The only glimpse of hope we really can have is that Trump asks the justice department to defend the injunction, if that happens they actually have a chance of winning based on previous rulings. Sessions and the far right planned this all along.

I believe we are safe from deportation, but we will all lose our jobs.

Doom and gloom. Some of you have given up the fight already. Something good will happen for us dreamers. Stop trying to equate health care with our situation. Rebulicans and democrats are so far apart on that issue than they are on the DACA issue.

Sessions is basically washing his hands here
Dreamers number some 700 k out of a nation of 321 million. We are 0.2% of the population of US.

We're not even 1% of the population of America.

I think people are tired of this up and down. It drags on you emotionally, and this was such a slap in the face after everyone finally began to breathe easier. I think we should let people vent on here if they need to.

At the same time, we shouldn't give up. The fight is not over. And everyone please practice self care.

Trump is sympathetic. But a section of his support base would turn on him.

I think what we can do is try to educate them. They're painting us all as criminals who're stealing tax payer money, on welfare, we get free tuition, etc.. and these are things which are not true. Its propaganda.

We live in the age where facts do not matter... at all.
It is quite sad, It is honestly demoralizing, a bad time for the U.S. I honestly think this is a sign that we are in decline. What happens with Dreamers is simply a symptom of a failing system, or a sick country that is losing grasp with the reality.

There is a bigger picture than our close minded view of things.

It hasn't happened yet. There's still chance. Trump has said in the past that there is a solution that would make everyone happy. I don't know how many of the Republicans want us gone, however, I am certain that Trump was speaking of a solution that would make them very upset. If Trump chooses to help us, those people are not going to vote for him the second time around.

I know it has not happened, but it is very likely.

The main problem we have is the attorney general. The only way to get around it is that he will have to be fired over not wanting to defend the lawsuit. It is likely that Trump will want to avoid that scandal and this is how these states are confident that they will succeed.

Sessions just went on national TV and bragged about this victory... like he is cheering for the opposite team.
