I am saying DACA is over and we are all getting deported?

Show me where I said this.. oh that is right, you can't because I never said this.

This is just some act of desperation after being called out

Libertian you can do better than this

yup, i worked for my local US Congressman CA-05 in the house of reps trying to advance our cause through policy everyday. i quit after the recent election because i just couldnt take the vitriol that was associated with our political climate.

today, despite being out of work from capitol hill, i continue to call and email Senator Kamala Harris and Senator Durbin because i believe our cause isnt plausible in the house (because of a GOP majority) and its in the US Senate (best way to add a legalization amendment due to only a 52 GOP majority) that our cause will be addressed via legislation and through conference committee.

If there's gonna be any immigration legislation during the Trump years it'll be to benefit us. Who knows what the makeup of the house and senate will be in 2018.

obviously i was being sarcastic you can call me out all you want dude (accountability is good), no point in arguing in a forum, your point is valid as mine or your forum buddy 2face.

im no gonna say either of you are wrong because both of you guys make valid points. at the end of the day we are all on the same team. its how you want to be defined on handling the situation is what matters.

if you want to continue and send a cynical message, that is fine dude.

and idk why your always so belligerent to anyone who disagrees with you on here. i mean if thats what you thrive on being, all the power to you.. nothing wrong with that.

but im not gonna belittle you or "call you out" and continue to argue cause i know you hella get off on that.

we'll be okay brother, hope everything is well with you. tough times ahead, but we will pull through. when we all get legalized, we all will be laughing about this in this forum.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but I was reading in an article that if Trump revises DACA and takes out the term "lawfully present" that can potentially end the lawsuit from the attorney generals that are suing. Of course that can put us at a potential of deportation but General Kelly has been consistent with saying that he is not after DACA kids unless you have committed a crime or some type of felony. Let's hope for the best.

Quote:
The Trump administration could address the issue by removing a part of the DACA program that provides a subsidy to give driver's licenses to those “lawfully present” in the U.S.

If Trump removes the “lawfully present” designation, it could take away the main reason for Texas to sue, Stephen Legomsky, a former Homeland Security lawyer, said in the Times
.

how do you think that affects the community's morale?

dont you guys think sending a message of hope and pragmatism is better? so people can be inspired to take action. not the cynical message of giving up because people on here says DACA is done and we will be all deported. (no we are not gonna get deported)

2Face may be a little weird by how he sends his message but he is sending the RIGHT message, im not a fan of him being a dreamer for trump but its his message is hell of a lot better than "hey fuck you guys DACA is ending and ya'll gonna be deported to DREAMER concentration camps."
Mahhh man Libertarian finally coming through from left field and spittin some knowledge!

This is absolutely true in Connecticut. I live in a big city so its easy to get into the thought that this is a very liberal state. Seriously the only cities that make CT for example look "very liberal" are Hartford, Bridgeport and New Haven. I took a drive this past weekend across the state and I'm telling you I wouldn't be surprised if there's plenty of Republican voters in those areas. Nothing wrong with that. You pay the tax and abide by the law, you're entitled to vote however you want. People in this state are just tired to take the burden of the fiscal problems of the state. The working class in CT are experiencing just hikes upon hikes of income tax and all other taxes you can possibly think of. I think that plays a big role in the changing sentiments and thats what Trump was good at targeting in his idea of "Buying American and Hiring American" rhetoric.

My short "black's" will certainly fit in your mouth. Let me know when you'd like it. You've been very moody lately. It might help you calm down.
