I just read something about if your case stays at NBC you won't get an interview but if they transfer it to a local office you will. Not sure if things have changed though. Good luck though. Please keep me posted!!!

GUYS.

I just remembered that my AOS package includes an I-102 application to recover my lost I-94. I never made a copy of it when I first entered the country, so this is the only way for me to recover the number.

My interview is on July 24, and I've submitted a copy of my old passport, my visa page, and the entry stamp to show that I'm not an EWI. But what if my I-102 hasn't been approved/resolved by the day of my interview? Am I fucked?? Am I going to be denied???

Currently, the processing time for I-102 applications is 80 days, and I'm at 105 days....

My lawyer says that I should just take my I-797C to the interview in case I still haven't received my I-94 number. But still...SHOULD I BE WORRIED???

Has anyone done a service request and gotten any valuable updates or feedback on their case? I'm at 112 days and still waiting for the AOS EAD. Starting to worry because my DACA EAD expires in August . The status page still simply says they received the application etc etc

monthofmae, Darinka93 i know that lawstudent on this forum is also going through the i-130 alone first route, you three should connect

I read on some Visajourney threads that at the interview, the stamp on the old passport was enough for the officer, when they didn't have the I-94 paper. I would ask there if you haven't already. I'm in a similar situation, lost the I-94 but the old passport has the inspection/admission stamp, so I didn't file for I-102

I do, its a great service, saves me from checking the mail until i get important letters! The email usually comes around 8-9 am, usually I'm checking for USCIS letters

This would work, except I also lost that entry passport when I lost the I-94!

Luckily, I have copies of the important pages: bio page, visa page, and the entry stamp. Do you think that would also suffice?

Have you tried the CBP website? If you have a copy of bio page then you have passport number and your name. Give it a try. They now have I-94 records online.

I tried that when the online records were first announced. CBP only maintains online records of the past five years, and I arrived 15 years ago.

I guess I will have to just rely on the copies of my entry stamp and visa page to help me. The fact that I have a pending I-102 should work in my favor, as well. After all, why would someone apply to recover their I-94 if they weren't already sure that such a number exists under their name?

Any other thoughts?

I don't think it will matter much. The adjudication officer will have all the information in front of him and confirmation of your details. All of your record is under your A-file, which he WILL review at the interview.

However, I would still be on the look out for an RFE just in case, but it should not be a deal breaker to have your adjustment interview if they have proof of legal entry already.

Maybe it is just me, but I have noticed USCIS representatives have been VERY helpful when seeking my AOS. I would definitely do a service request if you have been waiting that long for further employment authorization.

Tomorrow I am doing biometrics.

Did you get your biometrics notice already? Curious since we got i797 on the same day =)
