Good point..

Honestly I lived all of the exciting years in the U.S. I am getting closing to 30, and paying all those taxes, so the rich can live the good life, idk. Living here does not seem as exciting anymore to be quite honest.

I will still fight though, for a while until giving up.

You should fight regardless if you're tired of this country or not.

It appears likely they will wind up in court. As of now, there is no plan to rescind or change course on DACA, Lapan told reporters.

Challenging DACA is challenging Prez exec power.

Trump will hate that.

Kelly declined to take questions after the meeting, but his spokesman said the secretary told the members that the Obama-era program, which shields immigrants brought to the United States as children, is at risk.

“This is what he’s being told by different attorneys, that if it goes to court it might not survive,” DHS spokesman David Lapan said. If Congress does not pass a bill to protect the program, he added, “they’re leaving it in the hands of the courts to make a decision.”

A bit off topic, but I'm stressed and don't even know where to post this question:

I am starting a PhD program in August that is 6 years. I received a fellowship that provides funding. There is no work requirement, just essentially free money from the university to pay my bills. I also get tuition payed for and health insurance.

Since this is not a job, and technically a fellowship with no work requirement, does loosing DACA mean I lose this?

I'm thinking the answer yes...but I am wondering because of the 'fellowship' language and the lack of a you do this so we give you this money agreement.. Anybody know?

Now all those Imbecile republicans that attacked obama over the program better act within their constitutionally assigned powers.

How is the funding allocated to you? Does is go directly toward tuition? Are you given a stipend?
