The full amendment below:

Notwithstanding any other provision of law or regulation, an alien who is authorized to be employed in the United States pursuant to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program established under the memorandum of the Secretary of Homeland Security dated June 15, 2012, shall be eligible for employment by the Government (including any entity the majority of the stock of which is owned by the Government)

It's a small step but I'll take any good news I can get!

Does that mean we can join the military ?

Sure we qualify for federal employment but we will qualify for any employment come September?

How ironic would it be if we dreamers started working for uscis processing daca applications?

What's this mean exactly? Not too familiar with how bills and government work outside of the basics, but how was this voted on? It didn't need to go through the House or Senate? Or is this something else?

This is really important because if trump decides to take the lawfully present from DACA to save it, then we would still be able to get work permits. I think?
