petitions are incredibly useless. You are better off doing nothing at all. Armchair activism results in armchair results.

Well obviously it shouldn't be in place of real activism, and what's the harm in signing?

I dunno, we could actually do something non passive instead. Calling and mailing seems to yield better results.
