There is no way this passes. Then again, you start negotiations like this and then you move towards the middle.

Too lenient IMHO. No wonder POTUS don't want to support it.

Nonetheless fingers crossed.

I love the no age cap. Aged out dreamers have waited long enough. I think the 18 needs to be lowered, realistically. Just seems like a pipe dream overall though

Yeah this won't ever pass unless they attach it to something like the wall or Kate's law, and even then. Bridge Act seems like the most realistic choice

Even if does passes. Trump has he will not support it.

Right now that's where he stands but who knows later on

I have trouble understanding . . . Why the fuck ths measure was named dream act. That fucking name has been demonized. Dont be surprised if trump refuses to endorse something dubbed amnesty.

Efforts should be made to bundle up the Bridge Act with the major bills coming up. This thing presented here is only for symbolic purposes. Too broad to pass.

Should've named it after Trump or something.

Make it so that everyone who has DACA is protected, and the chances of passing are higher.

Covering other immigrants is of course also important, but it's a separate issue altogether.

So the options are: we protect DACAers now – we'll see about other groups later – or, DACA is eliminated and ZERO groups are protected.
