Three years would mean over 300k for me. I would save lots from it to move on in the event that nothing gets done about us. I'm graduating in December so I would only be able to work ~8 months before my EAD expires. Won't be able to save much, but probably enough.

I'm just exhausted from the uncertainty and I won't wait any longer. I'm seriously planning to move on.

I graduate in 3 weeks, but my EAD expires on 11/27. Praying right now my renewal goes through before the lawsuit happens, then I will begin looking for a job. I need a friggin break, man. This past year has been the most stressful time of my life.

Congrats man and get to that renewal ASAP. It's extremely likely they'll honor our permits even if/when the court strikes down DACA.

I don't trust what his office says after the link I shared with you.

why do we need to wait for official statement from Trump, when the WH official ( Marc Short, White House director for legislative affairs ) says Trump is not going to sign the Dream Act.
For fucks sake, wait. Even if he doesn't sign this bill, maybe they will get something else done.

But, if you think we are all fucked, be my guest.

I have seen with my own eyes how WH official spokesman was contradicted by Trump within days.

I don't think Trump would sign the bill without asking for something in return. At least wall money and extra personal at the border...

or he could just not sign the Dream Act bill to say he didnt give amnesty but congress did.

remember:

if a president decides to do nothing. He may decide neither to sign nor veto a bill. If Congress is in session, the bill becomes law after ten days without the president's signature. Otherwise, the bill suffers a pocket veto and does not become law.

Another scenario is that he do nothing about it(not veto it nor sign it) and it'll become a law in 10 days.

IDK, I was reading how a bill becomes a law and it says A bill becomes law if signed by the President or if not signed within 10 days and Congress is in session.
hmmm Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
