I would probably go to Hawaii for mine, or California, never been there.

I am exploring options.
St Thomas Not worth it. Don't recommend at all.

I'll head to St John on Sunday and will let you know.

For those who have received an EAD through AOS, how long did it take to receive the actual card after receiving the notice letter that the employment authorization was approved?

I received the approval notice last monday, it says it was approved july 12, but i have not received the card. The case status online never changed to show that it was approved, so i have no tracking number

Mine took about 4 business days.

This site might explain the process more clearly.

Also, it depends on your location of where you live.

Hey guys, we just had our interview today.

Overall, it went fine. The officer asked us questions to verify the information we provided in the G-325s, I-130, and I-485. He asked me the questions about whether I've committed crimes of moral turpitude, etc. He confirmed our parents' names and birth dates, our names/birth dates, former addresses and employments, etc.

He then asked for additional evidence of comingling of assets/finances. We provided our lease agreements, our auto policies with each other's names included, beneficiary information for our life insurance policies, and joint bank statements. We brought extra pictures, but he said we've already submitted enough.

Lastly, he asked me to tell him the story of our relationship. Why did we get married, why we didn't have a wedding, etc. We both answered the question, and that part was only about 5 minutes.

The kicker is that I walked away with an RFE, because my civil surgeon did not perform a gonorrhea test, which was required as of August 1, 2016. So for those of you who are about to submit your packet, make damn sure that you got your gonorrhea test done! Honestly, that was pretty disappointing -- I think we did all right, but having to delay the entire process for this RFE is another hassle in an otherwise already cumbersome process. I blame the civil surgeon for lacking the competence to keep up with the latest requirements.

Once I even get the paperwork submitted, who knows how much longer until they adjudicate our case?
