Listen, if you want to go ahead and panic and yell that the sky is falling go right ahead, is within your right. My right is to have my opinion and that is what I believe in. I do believe DACA will survive one way or another.

If Paxton is already hitting the panic button on the dismissal of the lawsuit I do believe that's a positive.

I think the big misunderstanding here is the DAPA & DACA lawsuit. Alot people try to compare them but reality is that both are different lawsuits with different results.

thanks for clarifying that for me bro, i always had a gut feeling that the suit would be thrown out or either Trump asks the Justice Dept. to defend it but Sessions would recuse himself and the Deputy AG Rosentein would defend it.

i hope everything will turn out just fine!

Reading Paxton's reply more carefully, I suddenly thought of something new: the Court could allow the lawsuit to continue seeking to annul only the Extended DACA 3-year permits.

If that were to happen, then those with valid 3-year DACA could simply get the normal 2-year one. Problem solved.

Paxton mentions over and over again the issue with there still being valid remnant eDACA permits from the 2014 memorandum. So with this in place, the case can continue, leaving 2012 original DACA intact.

I thought the injunction went into effect 2/15/15. Wouldn't there be some expiring until 2/14/15? Or did they stop issuing those in November '14?
