The problem here is that you're taking his words very seriously. Nobody cares about what he says as much as liberal media and immigrant groups. They're too naive to understand that the dude is doing nothing he said he would. The immigrant ban wasn't his idea at all. That was all Bannon and now Bannon is about to get the axe. Democrats do not like to compromise. They would have never compromised if HRC was president. Now they have no choice because Trump is no chump when it comes to this. If McCain and Graham get involved I am damn sure Schumer and Co. will come to the party to compromise.
