U.S. Sen. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, is undecided on the measure. It's not a piece of legislation that would appear in a committee he serves on, nor has any vote date been set.

But Lankford believes tackling a variety of issues associated with immigration should be a priority for Congress.

"No one in America thinks the current immigration system works well," Lankford told The Oklahoman. "While the federal government improves border enforcement, Congress must begin to debate the hard issues surrounding our nation's bureaucratic immigration system. We can start by considering solutions to address individual immigration problems, such as VISA overstay enforcement and worker verification, among many other issues."

At least, he's not outright opposed to helping us.

When does congress return to work? Any idea how soon they can start debating any of these bills or for that matter any of trump's bills?

House Speaker Ryan has a live town hall on CNN next Monday, lets see what he says regarding DACA and the fall legislative agenda.
