Their permit was revoked because of the violence. You sound like Trump lol. These people were good people lol. This was no peaceful protest. They came with torches and a lot of them were armed with weapons and the such. They were chanting Nazi slogans and things such as the Jews will not replace us and other racist and homophobic slurs. Neo-Nazis are scum and them holding rallies shouldn't become the new normal.

Although there were peaceful protesters against the Neo Nazis and a majority were. There was also a radical leftist group called Antifa that is also known for inciting violence, mayhem and vandalism. They were labeled a domestic terrorist group in my home state due to their history of violence.

But even then, the Neo Nazis were the ones that started this catastrophe first and they went too far by crashing civilians. They should be the ones to blame. There were no both sides in this situation although both sides are extremist (neo nazis vs antifa, not the peaceful protestors) bevause the Neo Nazis started this first.

Yes, I'm aware there were Antifa there, and that they are known for causing violence, vandalism. I don't agree with the tactics they are using, but I still don't see the Antifa on the same moral plane as Neo Nazis.

Being against free speech is a Nazi quality. How many speeches have been canceled at Berkley because of Antifa?

Also antiFa used piss bombs against the alt right over the weekend.

You are all debating their actions, which we can all agree were violent. BUT its the "why" behind their actions that is just as important! I agree with Swim19 you cannot ignore the fact that they are on 2 completely different moral planes.

**As a last note while I still don't agree with their violent tactics, I have had people that were there (the one's counter protesting peacefully) explain that had Antifa not been there taking an aggressive violent stance they would have also been assaulted like the young African American. They literally formed a human blockade for the clergy that was there peacefully.

Those anti-fa actually blinded a guy at that little brawl at charlottesville.

The White Nationalists had a permit and the protesters did not. It's just the truth.

And the other side murdered a protester (not someone who is antifa) and injured at least 19 people. I already said I don't agree with their tactics.

I never said the protestors had a permit, but to equate that to being as morally reprehensibly as believing in white supremacy, Nazism, etc is ridiculous.
