we know that and agree but this guy is blaming the age limit for daca which is up to 16 as the reason to why there is no immigration reform and he blames the democrats for this failure.

he also thinks daca should only benefit those who came here as babies or little kids.

I say nonsense bc there are many successful dacaers who came here at later ages

So there YOU are slamming the door. Some of these DREAMers would be just as dangerous as republicans if they got legalization no matter how flimsy(BRIDGE Act).

not slamming at all, thats why we need a comprhensive immigration reform to deal w everyone. but this time the govt has to enforce both the amnesty and security provisions.

but just to be fair to both dems and republicans, so we are just gonna continue to encourage illegal immigration? come here and youll be legalized? it has to stop somewhere. the reagan 1986 amnesty tried that, 3+mil people got legalized but the govt didnt enforce the security provisions of that amnesty bill, thats why there is 11+ million undocumented now.

my parents made the mistake coming here illegally, they paid for it and got deported for it. we all admit that we broke the immigration laws by overstaying, if we had to do it again we would do it legally.

but hey, thats life.

Only thing the law needs is a fucking outlet, no more overstay bans, and permanent 245(i). Prior to the 1997 law the population stayed at around 2-3 millions as Joses came, and then left or legalized. Now with a 10 year ban everyone who would be otherwise thinking of leaving or thinking of legalizing can't because no one will do a 10 year exile.
