Someone tweet this to that dummy who said it was going to end yesterday, because apparently she knows more then anyone inside the WH.

Before Trump made his announcement on the Paris climate agreement the press sec said the same thing but the rumor was that he was going to remove us from it which he did

Not trying to be negative but just want to give you a realistic view

I can't help but take all of the stalling as a good sign. As some of you have mentioned here, it could be due to trump trying to figure out a way to not end DACA and not anger his base too much at the same time (no new applications for example). Or as others have mentioned, him trying to make a deal with congress regarding DACA, if he would've wanted it gone he would've done so by now, just like the Arpaio pardon, which he did at a time when most attention would be focused on the hurricane.

It kinda seems insane that ONE man holds the fate of 800K.

Like think about this for a second... that is some insane power and ability to change lives for the better or ruin them!

Realistically also news reporters including United We Dream had said that they had reliable sources that DACA was going to end on day one of his administration. 8 months in and we're still here.

In addition, President Trump also tweeted against the Climate agreement and why he was against it. He hasn't tweeted about DACA and ever since he won the election he has been neutral about it. So it's very different as far as comparisons go.

Is there another issue that's like DACA, that he was against during campaign, changed his opinion after elected and have been silent on since?

I believe there he changed his mind about engaging in Syria, but he's also surrounded by generals who may have influenced that decision.

That seems to be the latest talking point of the anti-DACA crowd - that we've taken jobs away from USC. As if we get a job offer with our EAD...
