Man, I had my Bio: 05/08 Expired: 08/24. Hoping I hear something soon. Welcoming all good vibes.

Looks like most people either get approved within weeks, or have to wait MANY months, nothing in between. I have heard of people who got approved within 2 weeks of applying or 7 months of applying but haven't heard of anyone who got approved within 2-3 months of applying. Interesting.

Guys my EAD is now in production! I am soooooo happy. Weird thing is that the I821d has not updated status and still shows pending. Has anyone else experienced this?

When did you submit renewal app?

yes, this is normal, the next update should change your i821d to "Case was Approved", and don't freak out when your EAD status changes from "Card in Production" to "Case was Approved", that's normal as well. You should be receiving your documents within the week, if not early next week. Congratulations.

I submitted my 2nd renewal the 17th of April. Went in for bio the 3rd of May and finally got approved Aug. 18th. All in total it took around 4 months, 4 stressful months to say the least.

Anyone who is worried about what is going to happen to us DACA recipients if Trump rescinds DACA should rest easy, I found this article written by the man who is spearheading the DACA repeal, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. He himself says that he would not repeal DACA cold turkey, instead he would let the program phase out, meaning no more approvals or renewals. Sucks, I know, but at least that gives some of us some time to enjoy and be grateful of what we have now. Again this is worse case scenario, then again, can you trust a politician?? Hmmm, we will just have to wait and see...

If you haven't submitted a case on both of your cases I suggest you do. I don't know whether it helped or not but try everything and anything you can. I have the rest of you that are waiting in my prayers. Best of luck. United We Dream.
