On form 1485
Part 2 , It asks to provide a receipt number for the principal applicant of an underlying petition. Would I leave this blank since I am filing AOS through marriage, since its concurring filing with form i130?

On part 8, there's a couple questions that im not sure if I should put yes?

Number 17- Have you ever violated the terms and condition of your nonimmigrant status ? (i am an overstay, so was here illegally years before daca)

number 23 - Have you ever applied for any kind of relief or protection from removal, exclusion , or deportation ? (well I have daca)

Thank you .
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any answers to the questions above, and also on form i864, my wife is the sponsor requesting me , but we are also going to be using my income since she does not make enough. We filed last year jointly and we claimed my parents as dependents. Does that mean That I would need to also file form i864a ? or would I be able to choose the option that states "One or more of the people listed in Item Numbers 3., 6., 9., and 12. do not need to complete Form I-864A because he or she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents. " ....even though we both have my parents as dependents , but they are not being requested on the AOS.

Lastly, would it be an issue if my wife only provides the past two irs forms for the previous years, since that's when she started working. thank you.

No idea either. Our applications were filed on the previous forms. Check VisaJourney's AOS forum to see if they have an answer.

That's the weird thing, i actually did get the approval letter for i765 under c(9) AOS, so i am approved to work under it. Just havent received the card. The case online has not update since the application was received.

Thanks, i did make an online request a few weeks ago, im supposed to hear back this week. If not i'll call USCIS and maybe make an Infopass appointment

are the forms the same if you are married to a green card holder of a citizen?

I see lots of help online and here but most of them are married to us citizens, my wife is in the process of becoming a citizen but I would like to send my application soon and have her upgrade it later (things are crazy now, and anything could change which is why I want to waste no time)

Yes the forms are the same. Considering backlog with F2A you can only submit a standalone I-130, later you wait for approval, her naturalization, and file for adjustment, include a copy of the I-130 approval and copy of her naturalization certificate.

Alternatively you can wait until she naturalizes and just do concurrent filing (I-130 and I-485 at the same time).
