You have 6 months to renew basically and you're EAD will be valid through expiration. Doesn't mean everyone's DACA will end in 6 months. Just 6 more months of USCIS processing them and then after that it's done. And Congress has 6 months to do something for us.

Great point, they won't be able to go to everyone's work to enforce it.
BUT, they could delay every new application for months and make sure no renewals submitted in the next 6 months actually pass through before 6 months mark.

No they can't, that's illegal.

Y'all need to understand the title of this article is VERY VERY misleading. Media has been doing this for a long long time. We can't say anything or find anything out until Tuesday when an announcement is made from WH.

Need to wait for official announcement to determine.
They probably won't leave a loophole for everyone to get 2 more years after 6 months are up though.

NILC:

Here's what we DO know:
1) DACA is still in place today
2) Outlets have been reporting the end of DACA for weeks
3) We must keep fighting

So true. This just gives us a possible option to consider/prepare for emotionally.

Wait until Tuesday for the official details.

If this is the news, it's a positive sign he is giving 6 months. He could have ended the program now and declared immediate apprehension and deportation.

The title of that damn article is misleading.

Daca is not dead . Most of us were worried that it was going to die on Tuesday. We all knew it was going to end and now we know when and it is six months from next Tuesday. We are still going to be able to renew because daca is not dead . So what we all need to make ourselves aware of is that: YOU CAN RENEW 5 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. So instead posting of how afraid you re right now go ahead and post that WE CAN RENEW 5 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Let's all hope Congress gets it together by then.
