By the way, I've heard some people have renewed a year in advanced and still gotten accepted. So I guess is worth the chance for some.

DACA is still in place till March 2018. We dont know yet what will happen, they could just let us expire after that if congress can't get something than.

You do realize a lot of people have more than 5 months left of their DACA, so they won't get an extra 2 years. Also until we know the details we don't know how renewals will be handled.

No. Only people who expire within six months can send in their renewals before the program ends. If you expire in more than 7 months, you wont be able to send in your renewal before DACA is scrapped.
