I have a F2B application through my GC parents but USCIS is soooo slow in processing and priority date is backed up. Im wondering if I could submit my 485 and try to put it through and get a EAD out of it.
Im trying to go through EB3 too but I cant find a employer willing to sponsor

My asylum request will almost certainly be denied, but getting an EAD for a couple of years (Asylum decisions take years with a good lawyer that can appeal) will buy me time to hopefully complete the EB3 process.

If none of this works, probably move to Canada.

How backed up is the priority date for you? Do you know anyone that has gone through EB3 successfully with DACA?

Spoke w/@wsvn: #DACA was a temporary measure that Congress must now make a permanent law. 6 months is ample time for us to act!

She believes 6 months is enough time!

I don't understand why people are being so hard headed. We can't cherry pick what they do. We are in no position to demand anything. Get this through your head.

My priority date is Nov 2015 but the visa bulletin priority date is Sept 2011 so thats 4 years for me to be able to submit my i485.
My i130 as F2B son of GC parents, has been pending since Nov 2015 and has yet to get its approval.
So i was thinking if I could submit my i485 and put it through given my priority date is still not current and try to slip in i765 to get a work permit at least out of it.

I know people who went through EB3 not with DACA but with 245i.
