i'm not sure who here has applied using the new forms. :\
My passport unfortunately was not stamped. Even though I presented it. I did receive i94 form and one copy of AP back.

hmm. well, i still think it is your passport because you entered with that travel document. the other one was the AP document, but it seems redundant.

i can ask my brother to see if he knows. he helped me prepare mine. but i am not sure if he will get back to me right away. :\

That would be helpful.

This new application is robust an extensive, makes you double/triple think your answers.

On a positive note I just googled 'travel document' and this seems to be/look like a passport pamphlet that refugees (the new ones) are getting. So I can see why it may be phrased that way. However, on the USCIS website any travel permit other than a visa or passport is also referred to as a 'travel document'. Advance parole therefore is considered a 'travel document'. Now with that said, the only number I see on Advance Parole papers is the LIN #.

UGH...

With the current state of things, how long does it take to get an EAD after submitting an AoS via marriage with a USC case? (I am asking about an EAD, not necessarily a green card.)

yea, about 90-120 days. the whole process seems to take about 5-6 months, so you should have your GC only a couple of months later.

if you are eligible to adjust, do it now and best of luck!

Hello, I am trying to submit all the paperwork to adjust status asap through marriage to my usc wife. I have a question in regards to the new i485 form, if anyone can please help.

For the questions that asks "Have you ever violated the terms or conditions of your nonimmigrant status ?" ...Would my answer be yes ? since I overstay ?????

Also for the question that asks , "Have you ever applied for any kind of relief or protection from removal , exclusion , or deportation ?"....would again the answer be yes ? since I have DACA ?

thank you.
