It will be a very fine line; neither side wants to shut down the government or be blamed for it, not even for Dreamers. Dems improved their leverage for Dec but who knows what the situation might look like then. I would think both sides would much rather cut a separate deal on Dreamers but they still have to figure out who gets what.

They'll need Democratic votes to pass it. That's why it won't pass if the Democrats wimp out.

The Democrats have to understand that this won't hurt them. The republicans own the House, the Senate, and the presidency. If government gets shut down the Republicans will get the blame. When Democrats had power the Republicans did nothing but obstruct and all the blame went to the Dems.

There should be a requirement for new users or active users to have to send an email to congress after a certain of posts.
