I think it was a brilliant strategic move for Schumer and Pelosi to 'jump the gun' on this. It was clear GOP wanted to drag out the issue with meetings, conferences, hearings etc. This is will hopefully speed things along.

Repubes are stuck in the mud with their thumb in their booty hole. All talk no action, now they want to act all surprised and offended. GTFO

I don't think they jumped the gun. Trump cut a deal with them and they quickly ran out and put out a statement before the WH could walk it back. Turtle and Ryan got fucked by Trump again

I actually think this is smart of Trump, as the party leader, he has shown the guide line as they asked, worked out a deal, and demand for this to happen. If the Republican don't do it, then he can blame them bc he has done his part. and just like the last deal, part of the party will not like it, but most of them should follow bc he's the leader of the party. I really hope this work out for us.

We just have to expect the pushback. There will be negative articles out there, they're actually already starting. Hopefully Trump doesn't feel pressure to put the wall in there somehow.
