This might be the most accurate analogy ever.

So I was speaking with some activists like Erika Andiola and others on Twitters and they might be right. We all know that clean dream act will never pass but the idea is not conceding too much too early. I don't know

Someone fill me in, is it just work permits or actual green cards? I'll take anything at this point

We are not conceding much. If all else fails a clean DA will pass in December.

Quick question: IF the Dream Act passes as it currently is written, would we have to go back into a USCIS building and resubmit biometrics and do the background check again? Or would we just automatically be considered/accepted since we're under DACA?

Idk if its just me, but I hate going into the USCIS building every time I have to renew DACA... idk why but I feel so ashamed of walking in by myself and going through security and talking to the employees there knowing that they know Im undocumented.

You will most likely apply to adjust status and go through that process which includes biometrics. I get it you feel weird going there but I honestly think that's the last thing I'd care about in my process to get a green card. If everything comes to fruition, I anticipate this happening prior to Summer '18.

May God bless Donald Trump's heart forever. I never thought I would see the day when we are legalized but I am thinking that Donald Trump ended DACA knowing it would force Congress to finally deal with us. He knew that this was coming. If I could vote, I'd vote for Trump to be president forevermore.

He has truly blessed us Dreamers and in so doing, blessed this country.

We have to do biometrics every time we renew. Yes, you will have to do biometrics again if we have to go through another application process for whatever legislation comes our way. And you also can't forget the fees. I understand how you feel about doing biometrics. But doing work verification is more annoying and embarrassing, IMO. Some jobs I had they had never seen EAD before

I know what you mean, the dude who did my fingerprint a month ago, he asked me twice...
"You are a DACA?"
"Yes!!!!" With my biggest grin....
"You are?"

He was pretty rude after that but I didnt really care. (And he's white!!)
Hope he didn't mess up my fingerprints though cuz it's still says appointment is scheduled after a month now.

Easy there cowboy. Wait until POTUS signs it into law to say such bold statements, meanwhile we must remain cautiously optimistic.
