Hello all. I did my biometrics yesterday and I just got approved today. I'm waiting on the approval notice and the EAD is getting produced. In school right now, I'll post my timeline later on.

Hey, so how long did it take you to be approved with the help of Ombusdman's office?

I just submitted an application with Ombusdman's.

It took a little over 3 weeks - but they waited the day it expired to renew/update the app online.

I would have submitted an app here if I had known about it sooner - don't know if it would have helped get it back before it expired. But I have a strong hunch that this request got them to look at my file and approve as it expired.

I even got an email from them once it was updated online - stating that we have completed your expedite request.

Their phone helpline was not very effective - I put in 4 expedite requests because they kept deleting it from the system. I think I called over 10 times and each time I received a different response from their staff/supervisors.

Thanks for your input. Yeah mine expired and I haven't been able to start work. I'm loosing $1,400 a week. My employer gave me a letter of financial loss/ impact to the company and I attached other documents, hopefully they'll get back to me somewhat soon. it's definitely frustrating but I appreciate your input.

I really feel for you - have been in your place each time I had to renew and I can honestly say I'm glad we won't be in that situation again (I hope!)

My 2nd renewal of DACA and EAD has been approved today . See timeline below:

Current DACA expires : 12/4/17
2nd renewal sent : 6/29/17
USCIS received : 7/3/17
Biometric done: 7/14/17
Approval : 9/19/2017

Hi, guys! Other than the form that we need to type in for the DACA.

Is there anything else we need to submit besides the form?

FYI: This is for renewing application.

Just got approved for 2MoreYears.

Current DACA expires : 1/26/18
2nd renewal sent : 8/25/17
USCIS received : 9/1/17
Biometric done: 9/19/17
Approval : 9/19/2017

I went to my BIO this morning at 11am and got approval txt msg at 5pm, insanely fast!!!

I was finally approved again. I had a DUI, which I expunged.
