Finally something reasonable. If they truly believe we came here with no fault of our own then they should help us without a huge trade off

they believe that 20 years from now another batch of DREAMers will happen, that's why they want these enforcement provisions.

Another batch of dreamers will take place if they don't take care of the broken immigration system. They need to solve that in CIR. Right now it's about saving us. Like Cornyn said, a larger discussion needs to take place but after they address the issue for the current Dreamers. The Republican party chose to do this piece meal so they can't expect to get everything they would ask for in a Comprehensive deal. Dreamers are by products of the broken immigration system when parents illegally migrate with their kids. They can't address that without bring up what to do with the 11 million already here. Deporting 11 million will break the bank so they need to be realistic as well.
