So my CI interview date and location are out. They are flying me to South Carolina for an interview, and I live in the West coast. This is getting me worried

Yea my CI interview process was atrocious, my recruiting center was pretty clueless on what to do, they only knew some information last minute.

Makes me laugh when they question our allegiance and enlistment, after being in this country for only 2 to 3 years. Patriotic on a student visa? Get the fuck outta here.

I have my CI coming up later this week, fortunately only couple of hours away. They still made me block out 3 days for it however.

Hey all, any news on mavni? So quiet since start of CI interview.

What is CI?

Counterintelligence interview, an extra security measure DoD implemented to screen mavnis. Need to pass it in order to ship to basic combat training, although it's not a guarantee.

Just had mine last weekend, wasn't that bad.

I feel a bit relieved to read this. I've been worried and stressed. Thanks
