Most likely the BRIDGE act seems likely to pass at this time just to buy Congress more time to act. And before people get their panties up about this post, no I’m not endorsing the BRIDGE act.

That's exactly what is going to happen, I've been saying this since day one. It's a very easy sell if push comes to shove, we would't be getting greencards or citizenship. It would just be keeping the status quo. I just can't imagine March 5 approaching and something as simple as BRIDGE not passing... Why do you think it has been introduced in the House and Senate since January 12 before Trump was inaugurated. This was expected to happen.

Dems wont agree to wall but they will agree to border security spending

They are the exact same thing

Dems are merely playing politics

They won't need to if they stick to shutting the gov down without a deal.

So how are you so sure he won’t veto a citizenship bill for dreamers with no wall?

At the end of the day neither side will agree to anything and since time will be running out, they will most likely pass the BRIDGE act to avoid any bad PR and give Congress more time to get something done.

Nancy is a negotiator and she’s not stupid. Just like Trump knows the wall is not at reach, she knows that citizenship for dreamers is not at reach also. At least not now. Trump would look weak if he signs a spending bill that includes any “amnesty” for dreamers. Eventually both sides will agree and come to the middle and the BRIDGE act will be attached to the spending bill instead.

How's is this going? I lost sight of it once the dream act talk started.

Why would Trump sign on stand alone bridge act? If he gets nothing in return?

Be it bridge act or DA: it is all the same amnesty to Breitbart readers

You say BA will pass but your assertion has no basis in reality

If BA can be attached to Spending, why wouldnt DA be attached?
