@libertarian1776:
You are dreaming if you believe that they will again miss the opportunity to decide the best permanent solution: DreamAct. And no, Daca-only is shit.

DreamAct it is. See, your attitude is why orgs don't support your position. Might as well jump on the bandwagon. DreamAct has the VOTES; Washington times can go fuck themselves.

Dream Act was always the best bill to come out, i never said i was against it.

i always said Dream Act will pass in December via budget bill if a clean or compromise DA fails.

Do you still think a vote on a compromise DA will happen before December though? We are a month and some days away... and tax reform has taken precedent...

yeah, i believe there will be a compromise but talks wont pick up till around mid-November.

if it all breaks down, then Dems will just go through the budget bill to pass it.

3.6 million includes the newbies who arrived after DACA. Take those out and allow aged out dreamers. Let’s not forget that they started this fight that we are benefiting from!

We just need to Chuck and Nancy to throw a Tom Brady type pass and go for the jugular in December. Don't be afraid. Don't play politics with the issue. That is the magic formula.

I don’t see anything passing before tax reform... even the bipartisan Alexander Murray bill...

I see all these issues coming to a head in December. This is the best scenario for us as we will be wrapped up with CHIp, preserving the ACA CSRs to keep premiums down, and further disaster relief money for PR and Florida etc.
Huge public support for all these issues.

Normally when immigrants say "I got mine so screw others", it's the ones who had been here first. You on the other hand are going one step beyond and saying you should get yours because you came here last so that's a whole new wrinkle to this whole saga. You'd make an excellent Republican.
