Here is why we can feel a little better for removing or restricting DV going forward:

It is a chance program. People who truly need a new life would come here either legally or illegaly innother ways of immigration. Lottery is a “good luck”, and since they are not living in the States, that does not violate any basic rights. Think of restricting H1B visa. Unlike dropping sponsoring your parents which denies family remains whole, that’s a privilege we shall not dismantle easily. Remember, other than human rights, everythibg else is a privilege.

I am not from a country that participates in DV, thanks for trying though. Glad to know you would deport your own parents to get a GC , apparently because at some point in time a random person committed a crime which makes everyone else a criminal.

I'd like to point out that you do need a equivalent of HS education to qualify for DV Lottery. So in terms of education DACA recipients and DV lottery applicants are equal.
