Virgina voting this Tuesday will have a lot say about how the future of the Democratic party will look like come 2018. Democrats need this win!

No immigration should pass without no age cap. You have to include original Dreamers.

nope.

current and people who were DACA recipients need immediate relief. anything more to add to that population is just a bonus.

the rest of the undocumented population should be dealt with after this down payment.

Don't count on the Democrats, they are very good at losing elections.

So are we screwed or are we gonna be ok? You guys think Dems will push back the December dealine further down the road due to republican pressure? Pressure to NOT include DREAM Act on the budget bill.

It is up to how much they are willing to bet on their upcoming election in 2018. Again, I stand with my firm position that 2018 election will just be the same - Republican continues to hold majority maybe a few seats gone in House regardless of the shutdown.

I think we have a chance though....

Hell no. They are under immense pressure from organizations like UWD and others to pass a clean DA. No way they let it go into February. These organizations have framed it where if you vote for the spending deal with no daca protections, you are voting for deportation of dreamers.

I️ agree with you except I feel Republixans will lose the house.
