I didn't qualify for MAVNI cause there are too many Mexicans in the Marines already. Marines want people who speak exotic languages and asians.

Also marines slots were extremely competitive and in short supply. I'm still most patriotic.

when they opened up MAVNI for Dreamers, DACAers signed up to whatever branch they can get because they were willing to sign up and die for this country when the opportunity was given to them.

MAVNI was only really done by US Army. Other branches technically did it do, Navy recruited like 50 people, Airforce like 5, and Marines and Coast Guard didn't seek any MAVNI applications.

Also anyone out of those 50-60 non-Army applicants was a medical professional, not someone that kinda speaks another language.

but my point was that DREAMERs when given a chance to serve took it and made it work. they didnt choose and pick what branch they want. they served when they were given the chance.
