Its not up to Mitch wether there is a government shutdown he can say whatever he wants to say, like I said before if Democrats hold their stance on the issues they want on the spending bill we will have da passed this year. Republicans keep bluffing on a government shutdown because bottom line it will affect them the most on the upcoming midterm elections.

He doesnt want Dream Act brosef (He already got a GC through adjustment). The reason is if there is DA there will be no CIR push in the near future. He wants CIR for his family members. He is against DA because he can’t stand the rest of us becoming legalized.

Democrats need to fight for DreamAct and CHIP like Republicans fight for corporate taxes: we need DreamAct and we need it now. 10,000 people have expired; DACA was terminated on 9/5 and journalists keep committing professional malpractice not challenging McConnell's misinformation.

Yes issues that will be affecting people we care about like for example

@SenOrrinHatch talking about children's health care: “I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and billions and trillions of dollars to help people who won’t help themselves – won’t lift a finger – and expect the federal government to do everything.”

Republicans are no doubt worse than comic book villains

dems = party for protecting the right to own slaves back in the day

But yeah, those same dems went to become republicans... so... i guess you are right

Please don’t derail this thread with your same old arguments!
