Once I become a citizen, I will never vote Republican. There is a special place in hell for these people.

Cornyn is an ASSHOLE. He has always been working for broader CIR, now all of a sudden he doesn’t support DA as part of the spending bill??? Sounds to me like he is just jealous he isn’t involved in coming up with a solution.

It’s passing on Friday with the spending bill. I still maintain my position with the fact that this moment is possible because of Trump Admins CRAZY/VOLATILE way of doing things, no matter how much we may all hate the guy. This would have NEVER happened so early under Hillary. This dude is forcing Dems and Reps in working together. It’s sad he has so many legal troubles with this Russia bullshit because I think he has the POTENTIAL to do good things.

Two takeaways for me at the moment:

Pelosi/Schumer meeting is set for Thursday, day before Dec 8th.
Flake made a deal with this GOP buddies.

Which is a complete waste of time because politicians literally have no shame. Dem's aren't stupid, they won't throw away free leverage, especially when it helps them with elections.

Oh GOP, legalization for Dreamers is inevitable. Pass it this December and get it over with.

He said negotiations on passing legislation to address the DACA program are "currently at an impasse. [Democrats] are jeopardizing the future fate of those DACA recipients."

Democrats rejected an offer from a group of GOP senators led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (Iowa) that paired parts of Cornyn's border security and interior enforcement bill with a DACA fix that did not include a path to citizenship.

Cornyn told The Hill late last week that an update on a path forward could come as soon as this week.
Bullshit to English translation. I offered my 23121243 page enforcement bill for Bridge Act and Durbin smacked me on the head with it.
